Hi, I’m Souvik Mallick.

I’m a Data Scientist working in the Risk Analytics team at Aditya Birla Capital, where I build data-driven and AI-powered systems to support smarter risk assessment, monitoring, and decision-making at scale.

My work focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insights by combining machine learning, advanced analytics, and generative AI. I enjoy designing end-to-end solutions—from data pipelines and models to production-ready applications—that reduce manual effort and help business teams move faster with confidence.

I have a strong interest in LLM-based systems and agentic AI, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational analytics, and intelligent automation. Whether it’s enabling non-technical users to interact with data or building internal AI platforms for analytics teams, I care deeply about making AI practical, reliable, and usable in real business environments.

I hold an M.Tech in Data Science from IIT Palakkad and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. Over the years, I’ve worked across machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack AI development—both in enterprise settings and personal projects.

Beyond work, I like experimenting with AI-powered applications that blend technology with everyday experiences and culture, including consumer-facing chatbots and mobile AI systems. I’m always exploring how AI can be made more intuitive, scalable, and impactful.
